Local Model
Briefed on our own hardware.
Signal Briefs are generated by a privately hosted language model on Signal10 infrastructure, not by a per-click call to a commercial AI API.
Prepared once
When the ranking refreshes, new members of the top ten enter a single-slot inference queue. Each brief is generated once and cached, so opening Signal Brief is normally instant.
Private inference
The source context travels only across the private network to the local model. The public web container stores the resulting brief and serves it with the article's archived ranking.
Human caution
Local does not mean infallible. Briefs can omit nuance or misread a source, so consequential claims should always be verified using the original link.
